I use a Corsair M65 RGB, mainly for the on the fly DPI switching. Also because it looks pretty sweet.
Pixa is an app you could take a look at.
I'll be upgrading once they let me know that the update is ready.
I primarily use my windows machine as a gaming rig and backup system incase anything happens to either my personal MBP or my work MBP. The Adobe CC programs seem to run pretty well on Windows 8.1 so hopefully that continues to be true once I have 10 running.
It's a bit overkill on my end, but at work I have 3 monitors currently setup.
On the left: 24" ASUS in portrait orientation and that is where sublime and iterm2 typically live.
In the center: 27" Dell in landscape for most design work and internet browsing.
On the right: 15" MBPr that anything extra lives (messages, hipchat, spotify, etc).
Thank you Kenneth! I took that photo while visiting Nashville, TN. It was a wall inside Hatch Show Print!
Yes please!
You aren't alone and I find it hilarious that one guy deleted his wall of text in response to your original comment.
You may want to look into Dayswork.co.
The app is only 10$ a month and is capable of providing reports on where you've spent your time. Billable hours can be tracked and clients can be broken down into projects and tasks.
I think the only downside is that it is only a web app currently and doesn't have an offering for iOS or Android. Hope this helps out!

Recently built my site using HTML/CSS/JS with Siteleaf V1 as the CMS and opted to use their hosting service. So far its been great and would recommend using it or at least giving it a look.
