Yet another nice teardown!
The password recovery setup process is different and takes care of some back and forth, but I have to say it seems clunky to me. Maybe because it's so out of the blue? You go from allowing push notifications straight to that email screen. Quite jolting—although I'll be honest, I have not tried YOing, myself.
Hahaha, apropos duck lips. Great teardown.
Biggest question for me is will these have some kind of sizing/adjustment capabilities or add-ons?
Incorporating sensors is all well and good, but if you're like me and don't fall into the "our new earpods were engineered to fit everyone's ears" group, the pods simply fall right out. They're useless unless I'm stationary.
Nice work, Samuel. I have multiple clients on Shopify and while they do a lot of things really well, I hope that they take some of the feedback to heart—specifically regarding product entry.
Because it's beyond the initial onboarding, one thing that is missed here is that after you enter a product, the experience of editing the product is drastically different, especially with regard to product variants. I've heard many product entry grumbles from my clients. Simplifying and unifying that experience would be a level-up move for Shopify.
I share your sentiment regarding the colored-pencil graphics. It would serve them well to explore something more like the grayscale placeholder for your chat buddies on the left. That has a "hand illustrated" but not "colored-pencil sketch" style to it that I think I'd enjoy in technicolor.
The onboarding is so simple, and yet if the mistakes (example being auto-cursor on some fields but not other obvious ones) were fixed it would seem even simpler. Nice teardown.
I have always used Harvest. I don't have much experience with any others, but the trifecta of web, desktop, and mobile apps keeps me on top of it. I also enjoy the "idle" alert: if you've been away for a bit, it tells you so when you come back and asks if you want to remove the idle time.
Although I track to each project, I may not invoice hourly. If I estimate a flat fee, it's nice to see how I'm tracking against it. Most of the time, it is simply for internal and estimation purposes like Mason L.

I kept getting sidetracked with customization and WordPress upkeep, so when it came time to get something up-to-date online quickly, I switched to virb.com. I'm not sure I'll ever leave.
Another great, simple teardown. I'm not sure I could ever see enough of these.

Found Discourse and Muut. I dig the combination of comments and forum a la Muut. Any others in that vein?
