I made a little #JavaScript lib to play with FilePreviews.io just "bower install filepreviews"

Same here. I was used to OmniGraffle for doing wireframe with dozens of canvases and that didn't worked well on Sketch. I've found that the app performs better whe you have only one canvas, even if it's huge.

I still use Sketch every day but it really needs to get more performant quick. Waiting for the font panel is going to drive me crazy.

What you need to do is generate a sprite. For that you can use Glue which is a really simple command line tool. Glue will also automatically generate a css file with all the classes needed to display each frame. We use this primarily to generate icon sprites for our web app.

I've been working to solve task management for teams for a while now. We recently decided to re thought our app and to open our design process. Getting rid of the list of lists is very hard at least in a team app.

Here's a link of what we've published so far http://blog.getblimp.com/category/odp/

Maybe I didn't explain this very well or the message got lost in my lack of skills writing English, which is not my native language.

I see your point in suggesting to "fire" the lazy people. I really want to. The thing is that we encountered this problem in a context in which we where consultants or contractors of ad agencies. We can't fire the client. We tried our "Basecamp Police" hack, but that didn't work.

Also I want to explain that this was not a one time thing. We've been using Basecamp for years before starting Blimp and we had this exact same problem all the time with a wide variety of teams.

For some reason (I think design) people are pulled towards writing messages on Basecamp. After doing interviews, a lot of users didn't even care about any other features, they just used messages and some of them exclusively via email.

To be clear I think Basecamp's discussions feature is awesome, better than what we currently have on Blimp. In fact I think discussions are the best thing they have on the app so people are forced to abuse them, in order to communicate and collaborate given the constrains (by design) of the other tools.

PS: Moved the tl;dr to the top, thanks.

I use Sharpies (mostly black) and simple 8.5x11" sheets of paper. It really helps me focus on doing a lot of drawings and trying many ideas rather than getting everything perfect. Then I move to OmniGraffle or more recently Sketch.
