Use the scroll height to fix the sidebar into view when you are 300px from the bottom of the scrollable area (it should slide down to where it originally starts) and don't worry about the text being off center on desktops. I'd rather have an off center body than. These does not apply to mobile :)

Same here, about 40% of every project (internal or external) is consulting, meaning discovery and wireframes. Then another 10% of consulting at the end confirming why we made those decisions at the start of the project. From experience, I now constantly reiterate what we discovered during the early phases when presenting milestones. For example: The solution we came to for multiple user login home screen is shown here, here, and here.

We create products, and we get so tied up in function that we forget about the emotional side of relationships with ourselves and people who use our software. It's important to see through that, and most times only an outsider bring the fact to light.
