Great work .. The calculator loading animations are an unexpected/nice touch. I'm seeing a bunch of these types of projects popping up .. Bitcoin FOMO is real.

Well, it works in safari but not in chrome. It's pretty good .. Not great . Not bad.

Ross Floate put together a neat rebuttal with the all important point that copywork is a great exercise for learning ONLY. If it’s paid work, Dan’s approach can lead to trouble (check the footnotes in his article for link to Floate’s).

I think there lies the problem with Dan’s write up. It starts off strong, by approaching copywork as a learning exercise ‘Think of it like learning to draw by tracing ..’, which is fine. But by the end of it, Dan calling the final invention ‘original’ is a stretch, if not flat out offensive to original design work.

I took a few exceptions with the article and some of the generalizations within, but then I continued reading past where I thought the article ended. The section "What if your design skills aren't good enough?" just makes this article seem like a long-winded plug for TheorySprints, the authors alternative to the high-education he is railing against.

I think I'd just rather know prior to reading the article if there was an agenda behind it vs. an authentic question being asked.

+1 for the second-hand Aeron. About 1/2 price as new, was 8-10 years old when I bought it, never had a problem. This chair is a tank.

I think the idea has potential, but I'm going to echo the criticisms levelled at the landing page design. Little stuff like typographic improvements, as well at the 1200px breakpoint some of the sections unhinge and leave bands of white space in between.

I wouldn't normally be so nitpicky, but it is an app for visual design critiques ...
