Hey everyone, I recently started writing blog posts where I review various mobile and web products from the UX perspective. So far I've been mostly looking at user onboarding. I really want to make these posts useful to the design and product communities, so any feedback to make them better is much appreciated. In the past month or so two services that I use daily announced their plans to shut down... I switched from Rdio to Spotify a few weeks ago, and from the UX perspective the Spotify experience so far has been subpar. Now, where do I go for Mailbox replacement? Bummer!

Nice! Two suggestions on the landing page: add a screenshot to grab attention, and, most importantly, identify some truly unique features that separate your product from the competition. You are entering a crowded space, you gotta sell on unique features! Just my two cents...

Why did you decide to use a hamburger on non-mobile screen sizes to access the site nav? I think you should consider exposing the nav items on top without the hamburger and only use the hamburger on smaller screen sizes.

I think it would be helpful if you provided situational context that led up to Alex sending this message.
