Thanks for your support Eduardo! You’re right, I’ll be adding one in the next update.
Because that’s a lot more faff than just taking taking screenshots on the device IMO. It would also mean that’d I’d have to have a mac with me whenever I play with a new app which is hardly ever the case.
I’ve never found AirDrop to be particularly reliable plus the two factors that I like about this are that I can upload them as soon as I take them, where ever that happens to be and that they get imported into my library automatically, which is where they always end up anyway.
It may not be the best solution for everyone, but it’s the best one for me at the moment. :)
Looks good! Couple of bits of feedback:
1) Your project navigation buttons:
Before: http://cl.ly/XOqJ
text-align: center;
After: http://cl.ly/XOaf
2) The rendering of your animated text intro is pretty poor in Safari (7.0.6): http://cl.ly/XOxU
In Illustrator, Effect > Distort & Transform > Roughen. You'll get pretty close with that.
Yeah, the Behance books are great. I use the Dot Grid Journal.
I've just finished A Song of Ice and Fire and Catastrophe 1914: Europe Goes to War.
About to start The Design of Everyday Things and have just started A Clash of Kings.
Both ”A Song of Ice and Fire” and “Catastrophe 1914: Europe Goes to War” are great reads, the latter—whilst fascinating—is a little heavy going though. Took me a while to get through it.
Also, I'm unable to read one book at a time.
OS X Yosemite doesn't actually use the standard Helvetica Neue, they've tweaked it for use in the UI. It's defined in the OS as:
sysFont: NSFont = { font = HelveticaNeueDeskInterface-Regular, pointSize = 13.00 }
Helvetica Neue is incredible generic (and a crap UI font).
For those interested, I wrote briefly about this yesterday.
