Less is more
Well then get off Designernews and go practice then Alice!!
I dont know how many times i've gotten mails from people asking me how to improve at illustration. My reply is always 'its the same as anything in life, you're not gonna get better at it unless you practice....obviously'
If you click it, you will learn.
so wrong its right ;)
Visual stimulator!
I don't agree with this. The guys working on the brand team would never have the expertise to work on the product and vice versa
Thanks Aaron. It was one of the reasons I took on the project. It was such a fun project to work on. I also have a 4 yr old son so I've been using testing it on him haha
Take Dribbble with a pinch of salt. I used to post my UI projects, but like you said, its impossible to get across the rational of the project. So i started focusing more on illustrations, now all I ever post is illustration based on Dribbble. For my UX/UI projects I tend to use Behance, it gives you more of a playing field. Maybe post a shot on dribbble linking to Behance.
Its all good though, no harm in having a Dribbble account. I have gotten ALOT of work out of it.
