    Hey everyone!

I've been building this tool off and on for about a year while trying to learn React (around other side projects and a fulltime gig).

It's a tool that brings attention and understanding to how color contrast can affect different people with visual impairments.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) covers a wide range of recommendations for making Web content more accessible. Just a tiny part of making the web more accessible is accommodating for those with a form of blindness or low vision.

The standard grading system is a great start, but I thought I'd try to humanize the people who are affected by the different grades.

Let me know if you have any feedback, questions or would like to contribute! Thanks!

If you just tweet out asking you'd love to jump in then most likely someone will get you in. Users who have Superhuman can invite anyone.

Probably a good time to share this thread testing different action speeds of design tools by Marc Edwards (spoiler: no design tool is good at everything, in regards to speed) https://twitter.com/marcedwards/status/1151335728418193408

VS Code with a bunch of extensions (it's just a super solid app and having a quick, searchable extension library is great):

    • Auto Close Tag
    • Auto Rename Tag
    • Colorize
    • Enabled Emmet (off by default)
    • Midnight Palenight Theme

Love it man! Your photography is amazing and looks like your coding skills are getting up there too

I imagine it's because it's essentially a replication of your layer panel (not a library) but with the addition of keyframes, so makes sense to have an expanded view in the same place. You're only setting up a beginning and end keyframe, so a full-width timeline isn't as necessary.

This was loosely the outcome of not having money to throw at photoshoots/props for every recipe, wanting to stand out, and just my design style - big fan of clean, simple and usable designs :)

Or is it the harsh reality of today's society that an aussie can't say "shit's about to get real" when cooking gnocchi.

"absolute gem" - was that a ruby pun? :D

And yeah definitely look in to it. Middleman paired with Netlify was an absolute breeze to work with.
