It took a around of 9 months outside of full time work to build and ship Dubbledecker and reach a level where I feel I can probably switch career and do iOS development full-time if I wanted to.
Learning mainly consisted of reading books on Objective-C, seeing others trying to solve similar problems on stackoverflow, reviewing my code with experienced developers and making every mistake possible.
