Been using Xmind, but both FlowMapp and Whimsical seems interesting!

I had the previous model too. I have never done any actual benchmarks beside gut feeling.
It feels faster for more intensive projects tho.
It seems to be working better during hard tasks as well as not heating up as much, better fan-noise etc.

I'd love to get one!
Will prototype the sh*t out of it and use it in an upcomming project.

Love the transitions / animations on site load. Feels very smooth. Clean and crisp. (I'm on a MBP 15")
Btw. Did you front-end dev aswell?
I like the angle to a tired discussion. I used to do MMA, and loved it because it's width and variety. The same is true for my work as a creative consultant. It's ranging from pure video production to art direction, UX and physical product design, still love the width and variety.
