I didn't know design had a race.

I don't visit Hacker News nor Reddit, and I still want to receive good content. Probably the problem is that you visit all of them, and that problem is all yours.

When I was starting as a designer I was doing it, because I enjoyed creating things. I'll admit that at one point of my career, the payment was what motivated me the most. I had no real purpose, I was just working for clients to make money.

Now, after six years, things have changed, and my only purpose is creating an impact. I've discovered that working on products is way more meaningful than working on pointless client projects. I want to create amazing products, that improve people's lives and inspire other designers to do it also.
