I’m pleased to announce the first big update to Codescanza, the app I designed for scanning and storing loyalty cards and codes.
Based on our top feature request, Codescanza 1.2 now allows you to choose locations for your cards and add them to Apple Wallet so they appear on your lock screen automatically when you arrive.
Let me know what you think!
I’m excited to release Offlime - An app I designed to make it safer to listen to audio while on the move.
The interface is designed to be used while in motion and when your attention needs to be elsewhere. As such, the controls are large and simple (just tap to play), text is used sparingly and scrolling is paged (so buttons are always where you expect).
Keeping your eyes on the road is critical, so your options are kept simple. Only albums, playlists, podcasts and audiobooks are shown (no individual songs) and fiddly controls like skipping and scrubbing are omitted (although still accessible from Control Center, of course).
Additionally, Offlime only shows audio that you’ve made available offline so you never have to worry about buffering, losing your connection or burning through your data plan.
This was a side project in collaboration with a developer friend of mine, Mark Woollard.

Interesting. How about an extension to make LinkedIn look like… um, literally any other website? :P
It's actually announced now: https://m.signalvnoise.com/basecamp-3-for-mac-and-windows-is-here-fcf000f6ef1c#.rdtopmi4h
Thanks, Doug!
We're working on some ideas for that, actually ;)
Thanks, Brian!
That's a great question and I wish I knew, because it's definitely a bit silly :P
Curiously, there is an option in Wallet called "Scan Code to Add a Pass" but it doesn't do what you might expect. Instead of allowing you to add any code you scan (like Codescanza), it only allows you to scan QR codes which link to a .pkpass file.
Anyway, if anyone else has the answer, I'd love to know as well :)
Excited to release Codescanza - An app I designed for scanning and storing all those loyalty cards, coupons and tickets that can't be added to Wallet (Passbook) so that they can be accessed from Notification Center or an Apple Watch.
This was a side project in collaboration with a developer friend of mine, Geoff Raeder. The app is 100% written in Swift.
Thanks to George for the inspiration ;)
I used a vertically split site to archive the portfolios from my old web and mobile design studios: Tap Tapas
Glad to hear I was misinterpreting that :P
