We ended up just removing analytics completely. It’s honestly been freeing! It means we’re better in terms of privacy, and there’s one less thing to check and manage.
So a cookie to keep a user logged in, requires consent. But the checkbox "Keep me logged in" is appropriate to gain consent. So in your case you do not need to display a cookie banner.

So, so, good. Jaw-droppingly amazing.
The 2020 MacBook Air is a great Mac for design work. On the positive side, it’s a pretty quick laptop, especially if you get the quad-core model. I’m a fan of Touch ID and real function keys, rather than the pretty useless Touch Bar. This model also has the new non-butterfly keyboard, like the 16-inch MacBook Pro
The display is good, but not as nice as the MacBook Pro model — it’s only standard gamut, rather than being wide gamut (“Display P3”). The GPU (Intel Iris Plus Graphics) is more than enough for most 2D design apps.
The price has also come down, but consider the options carefully, because 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage probably aren’t enough for design work.
I think the 2020 MacBook Air is a pretty solid choice. If you can wait, it may be worth seeing what the new 13-inch (or 14-inch) MacBook Pro looks like, because it’s due for an update soonish.

Everything will be just fine. In fact, projects like this help designers, rather than hurting them.
