  • Posted to Does anyone here actually use UI kits?, in reply to Kyle Conrad , Feb 08, 2019

Came here to say this. I'm really not a huge fan of using Balsamiq so having a wireframe UI kit helps make sketching faster.

    I think you underestimate people.

I love it! I sketched a similar concept for a daily ui challenge... so cool to see your fully realized project. Great work.

Beautifully done. Love the poem in the pocket as well. Saving for inspiration!

  • Posted to Dream Company + Unsexy Work + Lesser Role?, Jul 16, 2018

I think it would depend on how much you enjoy your leadership position. Also, if you're itching for a change. You might learn that your "dream company" isn't as great as you thought, or it could be amazing. I say, if you get an offer to work at a place you've always wanted to work, why not take it? If you are happy there, you can work towards a role with more responsibility.

  • Posted to What do you think of this new take of iconoclastic postmodernism? , Mar 07, 2018

Conceptually I think it would make more sense for this to be three posters, or maybe one poster and two types of supporting materials for rights holders/sponsors. Having all the information on one poster is really bizarre to me, as Matt mentioned in his "What/Who is it for" point.

Going to be incredibly nit-picky here...but I wish the "certified fresh" icon was a little more noticeable compared to the regular tomato. At 16px they look too similar.

  • Posted to Webinar: Designing Success in your IoT Product, Feb 28, 2018

    Hi DN!

My studio is starting a webinar series on designing for data, with the first topic covering IoT products. We'll have David Rose, author of Enchanted Objects: Design, Human Desire, and the Internet of Things, in conversation with our managing director Mark Schindler.

The webinar is tomorrow at 2:00pm EST, and we'd love to hear from others working in this space talk about both their struggles and success.

Great point on the CTA. I did notice in the bottom righthand corner there are icons linking to Amazon and other retailers. But these are the furthest away possible from the CTA.
