On a side note, the subtle gray arrow indicating that I need to scroll to see what lies below the fold is, in my opinion, too subtle. The design of the page itself seems page seems like there's nothing below the fold. Maybe increase the discoverability of that arrow so others know there's more to see?

I like that you're bucking some trends with your portfolio. The animated gifs helped tell the story and I like that a lot. Overall, feels like you've got some strong experience and you've done some great design work.

I did experience a few usability issues, which I found using my phone: I didn't realized the large green block below your intro paragraph was navigation. On mobile the hover effect doesn't work, so I just thought it was a list of your work experience. Also, on mobile I didn't realize the header menu would open up your nav. Perhaps indicate that it's a menu to make it a bit more clear? Also, I read the first case study (which was nicely done btw), but then I started skimming, just looking to see what other type of projects you worked on. While skimming through the various projects, I got a little lost because the sections kinda ran together. Maybe add a little more contrast from one section to the next?

There's a lot here to like. I love the fact that this is a very minimal framework and I think there's some really awesome ideas in here. Maybe I'll try to incorporate some of this in my next project.

That being said, the naming conventions are quite the mouth full. I get the whole block element modifier concept, but some of these conventions seem really painful, like: o-gridcol o-gridcol--1-of-12

Ooh yeah, this is cool. As others have said, I also thought the refresh button would actually rotate the gradient. It would be cool if you could rotate it, with arbitrary angles. maybe instead of the refresh icon, you could use an edit icon?
