This is always such a bummer to see—usually it's because the site isn't complying with GDPR. The number of times I've tried to visit a Google link to some article on diynetwork.com and get told it isn't available in my country super bums me out.

Ugh, all of it. Writing portfolio pieces takes forever and is super painful. I always mean to do it whilst actually working on something, but that never actually comes to pass.

And once the pain of writing it is over, there's finding images to illustrate each point—sometimes with UX work, this can be harder to do than you might think. I wind up using a lot of notes and/or scripts (for user research work) mocked up on a pretend pile of paper.

If you need a listicle to tell you your website should be responsive, you might be in the wrong industry.

I love seeing what other people use to move from idea to reality! We have a Notion board we use that uses a mildly ridiculous numerical system to assign values to each idea, and then we (theoretically) prioritise ideas with the highest values–but gut instinct can always override that of course!

Oh, this is so neat! I used to give a talk a few years ago on this exact subject and could have really made good use of all this data! (The "History of the Web/How did we get here, anyway?) section always elicited quite a laugh.)
