I kind of love this.
If you have ruby installed...
cd into the directory and run this
ruby -run -e httpd . -p 9090
You can also use an alias
in your .bash_profile
alias serve="ruby -run -e httpd . -p 9090"
Comments are much easier to read!!

You're right. My mom is an intelligent, receptive and probably a great woman.
I used the word "most" because some of the critiques on this website are very valid. Others are not.
It's great to create a list of these details, but when you start grouping "Move this pixel here" with "This UI element is used here without any consideration of how it's there", the list becomes very noisy and whiny.
Would your mom care about most of these critiques?
