None so far, all the ones I've tried are fun for 2-5 minutes and then I uninstall them

  • Posted to I want to use Framer, May 10, 2017

Hello Antonia, I understand your frustration as I'm the creator of the best selling online course for Framer and I find students like you almost every day.

Luckily you are not alone, and you can easily learn Framer, speed up the time you spend creating prototypes and be ready for doing complex prototypes within a couple of hours of online learning.

Well if that sounds good to you, I suggest you join other 3000+ students online here Framer Online Course

See you inside! I hope it helps :)

A lot of Sketch plugins are open source, so you can go to the github page and contact the contributors/creators directly :)

If anyone is interested in learning Framer and lowering down the "hardest" of it to be "easiest", I've created a course which will help you on that :)

  • Posted to Ask DN: Any tips for speeding up performance on a mac without boosting RAM?, Sep 27, 2016

    Hello Stuart,

I also have a 2013 MBP Retina but with 8GB of Ram. I use the computer all the day for my work, and I was starting to feel a bit of lag already (before upgrading to Sierra). So when Sierra was released I made the decision to format the drive and start from scratch. I know is not the ideal situation and something which is not very common to do on macs but if you've been working with it every day, you end up with dozens of apps, processes, helpers, files, etc... which most of the time you don't need at all that end up slowing down your mac.

Formatting it and starting from scratch will take you around 1 day of work and will make you feel like you have a new Mac. At least that was my experience. Now I feel like I have a new macbook without spending an extra cent :)

    I hope it helps

  • Posted to Should designers use git?, Sep 23, 2016

I use git in my design workflow and I've been doing that for almost two years now. I also created a course on that for helping other designers that also wanted to use git for their designs. Here is the link to the online course: Design Versioning - Version control for designers I hope it helps :)

Did any of you guys thought that in Latin and Spanish countries XD means lol? It's hard to keep seeing Adobe LOL every time, even having the icon in the Dock seems like an icon is laughing at you all the time... Comet was much better naming, or at least it wasn't laughing at us....

This reminds me of the story of Mitsubishi Pajero that they had to rename to Mitsubishi Montero in Latin-Spanish countries as Pajero is something obscene...

  • Posted to Ask DN: I've been trying to answer a colleagues question. What is the key differences between FramerJS and Principle for Mac?, Jan 14, 2016

    Hello Rhys,

I have experience with both I used both in small and big projects, moreover I'm an online teacher of both products so I have pretty experience using both.

What I always tell everyone who asks me:

    • Framer is limitless, you can do whatever you want the only limit is your imagination. The down side is that you have to code. If you are not a developer this can be hard and slow.

    • Principle on the other side is very limited (for now) but it works well for almost all the basic UX cases out there so if you just want to do things like connecting screens, showing basic interactions, etc... It works amazingly well. It's fast and powerful but you'll be limited once you start to do more advanced stuff.

That's what I usually say, then if the persons is eager to learn new stuff and is patience enough, he will try Framer. Otherwise they'll go for Principle :)

    I hope it helps!

Thanks for your feedback. I'll make sure to include more preview lessons as I also see it beneficial. It will take me some time as I have to build a system for it. But I totally appreciate your feedback :)
