I find it interesting that Google's YouTube adopted the old iOSflying share arrow now on mobile, but iOS has since moved on to the box with vertical exit arrow.

This typeface is incredible. It is all of the things that I prefer about letterforms with all of the …grotesqueness, humanistness, and geometric …ness that I'd want. I should add that the tryout page for Fontshop is quite helpful in showing you example editable pages. You can also search for and integrate different faces in the sidebar to see how two faces would play off each other.

I must say, this typeface has most likely replaced Akzidenz Grotesque as my all-time favorite typeface ever for me.

Interesting thought, but wouldn't sans-serif load the browser default (fallback?) font face and probably not the System font face, correct?

Completely agree. Adobe has nearly regularly swooped in and gobbled competition (#macromedia and others), but existence of competition is quite welcomed.
