Nothing to worry about here, even a possible opportunity, if these guys mess up, just make your own version. Trello is incredibly simple software, especially if you don't have to worry about it at scale.

    Love your post.

After being out of the industry for around 10 years and having only dabbled in it before, I am trying to figure out how to get back into it.

For me it certainly seems building actual projects seems to be the way to go, but I am having trouble trying to find an idea to work on!

I didn't really read the article, I bought a maxed out iMac 5k, very happy with it, I was considering your option once too. But i went this way and I am very happy! I am sure you will be happy with your choice too :)

    Likely just grumpy today haha.

Thinking about making big life changes over the next two or so years. This has also now entered by thoughts. No idea how I would do that or where I would go. But consider it.

I really hope Beme does well, even if they have to pivot a little bit because I love Casey.

I love watching his Vlogs, I love his thought process, his positivity and work ethics.

  • Posted to ASK DN: Which is the best hosting provider for a creative?, in reply to Martin Lee , Nov 02, 2015

Just to hijack this a little, I am also looking for a host and I was interested in media temple, but I gather they don't do ruby on rails support? This seemed odd to me.

  • Posted to New 27-Inch iMac Supports Up to 64GB of RAM, in reply to Elliott Regan , Oct 14, 2015

And? This is for the 21 inch model.

The 27 inch model is user replaceable up to 64gb, pros would never use the 21 inch model which are then entry level machines.

  • Posted to If you think iOS 9's lowercase keyboard looks weird, the baseline might be why., Sep 20, 2015

I had to turn it off, I just didn't like how it looks. From usability it is much more clear but considering you type lower case more of the time, for me it just wasn't worth looking at the keyboard that looked "weird" all the time.

  • Posted to Ad Blocking – Seth Godin, in reply to Clay MacTavish , Sep 20, 2015

Your post kinda suggests there is someone at Apple working like an evil genius rubbing there hands together and letting out an evil laugh while trying to plot ideas with the only goal of hurting Google.

I would like to hope Apple's reasoning was more about putting users in better control of their content, content which slows down there experience and lowers their privacy in a way Apple has always spoken against.

All Apple did was allow apps that allow it, apple have not personally released an ad blocker nor is it enabled by default.

Worth noting that in this way Google itself allows Adblockers via it's own Chrome browser is of little difference to the way it works in iOS. iOS requires an app from Apple's own app store to enabled it, Adblock plus can be downloaded from the official Google Chrome extensions library.

  • Posted to A year later... Are there any alternatives to Ember, in reply to Toby Negele , Jul 04, 2015

Curious why you don't have time machine or a better backup system in place?

Surely that's what you need to fix, rather than finding an alternative to Ember? If that's the only reason for looking for an alternative.

Plus the lack of such system will bite you in the ass in other ways, given time.
