Flinto's interface is more refined, but not as intuitive (subjective opinion). Principle's UI is pretty rough (i.e. selected artboard focus clashes with asset edge snapping), but very easy to pickup and get started quickly

Freitag F303 Hazardhttp://www.freitag.ch/Fundamentals/Backpacks/HAZZARD/pa/F303_01245 My daily commute bag. Great for carrying a 15MBP and anything else necessary. Perfect for travel, especially under plane seats.

Freitag F13 TopCathttp://www.freitag.ch/Fundamentals/Messenger-Bags/TOP-CAT/p/F13_01313 Ton of space. Excellent for if you bike to work and want something rain resilient. This was my first Freitag bag. I now use it on the weekends and for going to hipster coffee shops to look cool.

Nothing fancy and got the job done as I'm joining the Uber design team next month.

Interesting bits: No CMS. Just good old fashioned static HTML pages and CSS. Did some mod-rewrite's for clean URLs. Used two fonts mostly (Maven Pro and Klinic Slab - thanks to Joe Prince) and leveraged -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch; for responsive galleries.

Still need to clean up the source and put it on GitHub.

Nice! I've built a few websites with Skeleton 1.0 and it's always been a pleasure to work with.

  • Posted to Qeexo: New ways to interact with touchscreens, Jun 12, 2014

I'm a former student of CTO, Chris Harrison (he was a TA for the programming usable interfaces course at the HCII). Queexo isn't only concerned with detecting knuckle touches, but all sorts of potential combinations of surface input touches, sensitivity, and dimensionality detection on a touch screen. I highly recommend checking out his site http://www.chrisharrison.net and his work with the Future Interfaces Group at Carnegie Mellon http://www.figlab.com .
