Reporting back: The movie was very well-executed. It was inspiring to hear how designers at different types of companies all approach design as a solution instead of just an aesthetic exercise. It also dives into some specific design processes (always nice to see how other people do what you do). Would recommend watching for sure!

I've worked with a number of designers who would be happier if there were no story to design around... which, as a story person, makes me very sad. :( Graphic novels and comics are one of those fantastic forms of communication where story and design are truly integral to one another.
