You have a font that is a Didot clone and you've literally called it Didac.

Dreadful navigation on that site. The scroll-jacking is positively contemptuous and I tried to scroll up and and it sent me down again. God I hate web design right now, too many 'designers' in charge, so much form over function.

Margins

I can just about handle CSS, I think I'll give this one a miss.

Sticky headline to the side is an interesting one, I saw Edenspiekermann do this on their site about 3-4 years ago. What goes around.

It's inevitable if this does well.

I'd argue this is an example of designer-focussed design, rather than user-focussed. User's don't mind or care, only people who notice are designers, but even then i'm not so sure. Lots of other more important things to solve.
