1) I was the only designer up until about ~20 people. Then we got an intern and mentored her to a full-time position. Eventually, we hired one more full-time designer by the time we were around 50 people in the company.
2) We have two main product teams with their own PO, Engineering Leads, etc. that get one dedicated designer each. I'm leading the design team jumping in between helping where we need it the most.
3) Hard to explain this one over my breakfast coffee, another day :D
4) Right now about 60 people. Maybe about 6-7 ish engineers per designer. Though I expect the difference growing larger soon in favor of engineers.
This bothered me more than I want to admit
I rarely experience bugs by Sketch ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Visually looks like a combination of the Figma and Dropbox landing pages. I love the look of the new Typeform but I have to agree that it doesn't do a great job educating me what the service is. It's okay. But visually it's very nice.
Impressive. As an app designer that uses Sketch daily every week I have a few points that "InVision Studio" has to be better at for me to even consider switching:
Switching my main design tool would be a huge task. I have 2000+ Sketch documents that suddenly won't work with my main tool (if I switched) so it's a major decision. That said, I'm still very interested in this and am excited how this will push the industry forward.
Best of luck!
The new icon is such a downgrade from the previous one :( It looks nice but not better.
Good catch! Didn't think about that.
Game changer. Unbelievably excited to try this out!
AOC 27" Q2770PQU. 2560x1440p resolution. Have one at work with my MBP 15" and one at home for my Windows PC. Great display with accurate colors. Also good enough for gaming with 5ms. Only bad side is that they are quite bulky. Pretty cheap though when I bought them, but they aren't for sale anymore as far as I know. I would upgrade to a 4K monitor for my work setup but my MBP 15" can't do 4K with 60hz :(

It looks messy and inconsistent. Gives me a headache looking at it.
