It's absolutely a difficult task to try and build a platform that can account for whatever shit people throw at it. I've not used Sympli, but my experience with Zeplin is that it's got a good propensity for freezing up, but does have good support for a range of platforms and fully functional at what it does when it's running smoothly.

Inspect is fairly basic right now in terms of being web-only, but adding support for other platforms is an almost certainty. Once they've added the platform support It feels like a no brainer - unfortunate for those that are trying to offer it as a standalone product.

One platform is an extra expense that has redundant extra features that we don't end up using, the other has it rolled into the platform we're using for the other 90% of the job. Less expense for the business, less hassle for the designers, simpler for the client.

Video of the motion and AE Project file, PDF doc that includes timing + easing curves and stills of start/end of key elements/transitions. HTML/CSS Prototype if there's extra time/needs to be detailed further

No search on the home page, takes courage

    Awesome content

    Terrible UI

Would love to work on a content-focussed redesign for this along similar lines to the previous work I was doing with Vevo

Nice find, this kind of wiggle room makes locked slide scrolling feel a bit nicer to use

I find it quite annoying when I click outside the modal to close it and it goes to the next one, but otherwise it's fine

Yeah I think it's just showing that clear mapping between vertical swipe and seeing the controller spin

The first approach could work with a slightly clearer mapping to the trackpad: Perhaps do a ghosted grey box in the shape of the trackpad at the bottom centre of the screen and show the drag actions within that.

Alternatively for the second approach, follow the model and layout Apple use for showing their trackpad gestures: http://i.imgur.com/OaM8Oau.png
