Hi all, we've just released Flagpack; 260+ easily implementable flag icons to use in your design or code project. We made Flagpack an open source project which means everyone who sees room for improvement can help make it better. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Super interesting Zander, I'm always on the lookout to improve these processes in our team too. I have a question in regards to your naming conventions.

On the one hand you mention for files and folders "We use clear, descriptive names that refer to the part of the app and the flows it contains.". However, when it comes to artboards you mention "We don’t use descriptive names for our artboards, we number them instead.".

    1. Do you feel those contradict?
    2. How do you explain the purpose of an artboard to your team without a descriptive artboard name?

I've been impressed with Adobe XD this year. They're moving really fast in terms of improving the app, and really listening to users (I've spoken with the XD team).

Figma felt like an amazing step forward to being cross-platform, but for my team which is all Mac, something like multiplayer wasn't luring us away from Sketch. Adobe XD is bringing new stuff to the table like voice prototyping and auto-animate. They have the resources to move fast too. The app itself integrates with other Adobe tools, and is free too.

We're still mostly Sketch at my team, but keeping our eyes on Adobe XD.

Definitely agree with Raphael here. Sometimes it feels that these redesigns are solely done to get attention, and maybe even negative press.

Adobe XD has some advantages compared other tools, one of which is performance (yeah, I know you wouldn't expect this from an Adobe product). Their prototyping is also much better than Sketch's imo. They're catching up I guess.
