Looks like the only change they're trying to make is to stop copycat Unsplash sites and that there's no change to how people are currently using their images. https://twitter.com/stephliverani/status/877962056204304384
Does anyone know how this will affect Invision's use of Unsplash in their Craft plugin?
Pretty similar to Craft Libraries but has some interesting features — auto adding symbols, managing diffs and syncing straight into your doc symbol library. Interested to hear if anyones played around with it yet!
I've found that this is specific to using identical symbols across multiple Sketch files. If you edit the symbol and try to paste it back in the original file it starts duplicating the symbol every time you paste it — even with all plugins disabled. I've documented and sent it to the Sketch team.
Awesome, thanks for the input!
For sure! We'll put it on the list of sync services to test!
Wanted to give you all a little update on Picnic. We're testing out sync speeds between different platforms right now. Let us know if there is anything you'd like us to test!
Try this out http://www.picnic.design. It's a plugin that allows multiple people in a single file and has the capability to share symbols and styles.
This TED compilation has an amazing array of talks from the giants of the industry (Sagmeister, Scherr, Maeda, Carson, Glaser...etc. The Heatherwick talk is one my favorites. The way he thinks and the scale at which he creates is so inspirational.)
I've seen Keith Frankel speak twice and it's been a thoughtful, personal and relatable. See his climb from philosophy major to Creative Director of Hub Spot in Escape the cave: Rethinking what makes a great creative.
Grab the Reins and F*cking Do it by Jessica Hische is a fun and frank and talk on the intersection of art, design and technology.
