    It's really pretty!

Some things that occurred to me:

    • I wouldve wanted to know where the weather data is coming from. e.g. I know that the data from forecast.io is pretty acurate, so if youre using their API, I wouldve been more confident in buying the app.
    • It is not possible to add a location within "Manage Locations"??
    • the scrolling in the weather view feels weird at the bottom. Also, frankly, the scrolljacking there feels unnecessary and annoying.
    • While scrolling around, I just found the notice "data provided by Forecast.io". This could've been more obvious in the store description (although I'm happy to see it :))

Overall I like it. But I'll have to use it for a few days before I can tell if it takes the crown from WeatherLine. The advantage I see in weatherline is, not having to scroll, and seeing hourly/daily within the same kind of representation. Thus my brain doesnt have to change from grid/line to list/table.

The watch app seems to be fairly snappy. I wish the glance would show the forecast, like the widget, as opposed to the current weather (#window ;))

Regarding inspiration, both http://www.fromupnorth.com/ and http://abduzeedo.com regularly have very good photography posts or artist features.

Sketch + animations/transitions, maybe even interactive stuff?

    See how it "shines"? :)

For HN there's an account which posts two links. One to the source and one for the comments.

Does anybody know if there is such a thing for DN?

  • Posted to Why do you think Apple have chose to make Apple.com none responsive?, May 29, 2013

Maybe because it works well on all devices but the iPhone. And on the iPhone there's the Apple Store app for that.

Or it just hasn't been a priority yet.
