Totally agree with this. As someone who hires/runs a design team, it's always been striking to observe the endless ways designer choose to label themselves. I've discovered, unsurprisingly, that no label truly means the same thing to anyone.
I've personally found design titles get in the way of surfacing the best way a designer can contribute. I usually seek design generalists, especially those who self-identify as generalists. Obviously everyone has their interests/strengths which will be evident and recognized. Creating a zillion labels to try and pigeon-hole a creative human is counter productive.
The exception to this may be very large organizations, where such categorization is helpful from a management point of view.
Networks are everything. In addition to building your own, you can plug into existing ones. For example, if you learn how the NationBuilder platform works (it's pretty straight forward - HTML + CSS), they will basically plug you into their network of customers. http://nationbuilder.com/certified_partners
Really well done. Thank you!
The app store says the lite version isn't currently available in the U.S.
To me, this is another indication that Adobe Comet was onto something by combining design and prototyping tools. I believe Marvel is also pursuing this path.
Delivering interactive prototypes has all but replaced sending out individual screenshots in our internal design process. Having one unified tool to reflect this shift will be a significant improvement. It makes me wonder where Sketch is on this front.
Obviously lots of incredible technology and upgrades here, but I just want a smaller phone. The size of the 5/5s is vastly superior to me.

Particularly if you want people to actually participate/do something instead of creating another pretty billboard. Created for people building community around something.
Macaw looks so promising, but it's buggy to the point of being unusable for me. Containers will suddenly take up an entire height or the grids will all light up one color or another and stay that way, etc. Looking forward to it getting on more solid footing.

I agree - my team switched from InVision to Marvel about a year ago because the whole experience felt faster and more streamlined. We've been happy with it.
