My personal logo, which I often use as a visual pseudonym in place of my own name, has a pretty simple appearance.

The story behind it is pretty drawn out, but it generally represents a few core themes:

1. Eye: The visual nature of my career as a problem solver
2. Delta: A mathematical symbol for change and everything that comes with it
3. Compass: A metaphor relating to problem solving, alignment, and orientation

The first time I bought something at a physical location with Bitcoin was in 2012. It was a whole pizza and a few beers at a restaurant in Hawaii.

Then maybe a year later I was paid in bitcoin by a client in California for design work.

Both experiences were smooth. I particularly enjoyed accepting bitcoin as payment for working remotely. Something about it just felt right.
