Been using CodeKit since v1. Just tried v3 and as soon as it started, it said something like "couldn't start the server" and then there was nothing I could do except force-quitting it. Maybe it's a bit early to try?
As mentioned above (but clickable)
is close. There is a subreddit of illustrations
https://www.reddit.com/r/Illustration
or if nothing is available then you can start a quick prototype community of designers who are willing to share & exchange their work via tools like HelloBox
or telescope.
Hello everyone.
We're a small team based out of Sydney Australia. We have a bookmark-related project that we'll be launching very soon!. The project is called Marvelogs.
Our need was that we bookmark different things in different places (e.g. videos on YouTube, photos on Instagram etc), so we wanted to create a tool that keeps them in a single place.
It's just a sign-up page, but we'd love to hear your feedback + thoughts.
Love side projects! Who doesn't? But a few years ago, I also noticed so many side-projects (including mine) dying out for one reason or another. So I did a side project about side projects! It's called "sideprojectors" - a market place where people can buy/sell/show-off their side projects.
It's been running for about 2 years now, and it's been surprising how many projects get posted and actually bought! Some are silly, some are just silly-expensive, but I've also seen quite a number of quality projects being posted.
Woo hoo!
The name of my project is called
Marvelogs
URL is http://marvelogs.com
Marvelogs lets you keep all your favourite items in a single place. If you like videos on YouTube/Vimeo, photos from Flickr, Imgur, 500px, or have bookmarks from Reddit, Pocket, SoundCloud, Marvelogs automatically collects & organizes them in a single place, so you can find your favourite items quickly and easily.
We (my friend and I) started it because we realised our bookmarking behaviour was distributed among many channels, instead of using a single bookmarking service (and let's face it, there are many).
Marvelogs isn't just another bookmarking tool, it's more, bookmark aid, where you just keep liking, following, favourting as you have always done and it will help you by placing all of them into a single place.
Would love to show once it's ready to go! We're launching in January 2015!

hmm. wonder how my sites will handle these edge cases. What is considered as a better design though? I would think that if things are too long, then you abbreviate it then append "..." to indicate that there is more text and then when you hover over, it shows you the whole text on the tooltip?
