I agree, Figma and XD might be fine doing simple flat designs for Apps. Though doing web design stuff with more detail, some textures and so isn't that viable with those tools, as they lack features that Sketch has.
Also I have like 20 plugins installed and Sketch works smooth on Late 2015 iMac with 16GB ram.
I was wondering when would someone take up where Sketch Toolbox left. Better plugin management is really needed for Sketch. I was thinking Bohemian Coding themselves would introduce something, though until then your app seems like the best option out there.
Really like it so far, a few suggestions and wishes from me:
As others mentioned, it's pretty annoying that you have to reinstall all the plugins, as they aren't recognised.
I really wish you would introduce somekind of Sync feature in the future, as it's really annoying to manage plugins when you work with Sketch on two computers.
Great job so far.
You can always use symbols and emojis in your layer, folder titles as on this example: https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/2000/1*eTGjQXz9cULDsBUiNkiE4A.png
Craft plugin is free, pretty solid and already does that https://www.invisionapp.com/craft
Love it!
I was just thinking that there needs to be a thread like this on Designer News, ha.
Here are some great deals that I'm getting for myself
30% off RightFont, awesome font manager for Mac: https://rightfontapp.com
50% off Hypershoot, in my opinion best service for collecting web design inspiration. Really good deal to get a Plan for 1 year. https://hypershoot.com/en
I have the new UI and really digging it. Much cleaner and feels like it takes off some cognitive load from the user.
