Smart—I dig it.
This is a joke from a Comedy Central show called "Nathan for You" :)
I love how many people are not going to get this one :)
Hey Jonathan, Did you see the examples in the article? They weren't negative at all—exactly the opposite. There are tons of reasons for a team to move on at once—for example in Seattle this week Porch.com is downsizing same thing happens at Microsoft and Amazon all the time. It would make a ton of sense for those folks to put themselves on the market together.
I put Basecamp in there too who is much smaller, and has been successful in making value led decisions. Also Bob's Red Mill.
I've been reading a lot about different companies that I respect and how they've organized themselves around principles as opposed to looking for profit making opportunities alone. Apple, Google, Basecamp, etc. What are other companies that you've been impressed with their values?
Another example is yesterday @avinash tweeted this about Starbucks mission statement: https://twitter.com/avinash/status/546815576791056385
What will creative agencies of the future (5-15 years out) look like?
I love the way this looks, but I have a really hard time reading any of their copy. It may just be me—do any of y'all feel that way too?
