I've been cycling through the BLACK wallpaper series by Jean-Marc Denis. They're great if dark minimalism is your jam!
That's awesome – I am actually just now realizing that you created both Silver Flows and the User Flows plug-ins, Aby! Good job :)
Can we expect some of the other features from User Flows (like a way to visualize conditions) to also be integrated in to future releases of Craft Prototype?
Very cool, excited to finally try this out in production! The feature set has really come a long way from the initial beta (which was already promising).
I like how it not only integrates the initial prototyping features of Silver Flows, but also shows the actual flows between screens, similar to what can be achieved with the User Flows plug-in. Not having to recreate the flows with two separate plug-ins will be a real time-saver.
Definitely Thoughtbot.
Their playbook is an awesome example of transparency, documenting their entire creative process from A to Z.
Furthermore, they actively maintain a number of great open source projects that they have developed as part of their own projects, but freely share with others (like Bourbon, Neat, Hound, etc).
Some really good additions in there! Will definitely be using some of the Dalton Maag's like Soleto and Aller for upcoming projects, great type faces!
It should also be quite interesting to be able to finally play around with some of the URW++ classics like Baskerville, Eurostile and Clarendon for web.
Yeah, it's really surprising to me that so few products seem to get this right – surely, creating buttons with a shared styling, but with variable text and width, must be one of the most common use cases for these types of symbols?
Recently, I have been thinking a lot about the state of UX design as a field, and about designing digital products in the year 2015. So I decided to put pen to paper, and wrote up a blog post about it.
Now I would love to hear thoughts and comments from anyone in the community! What are your thoughts on the current state of affairs in the UX field? How do you feel about the booming popularity of the UX Design term, and the trend of moving towards "UX xyz" job titles? And what new UX tools, methods and disciplines are you most excited about?
