Hi Josh,
Yeah man, thats where im at – i know how to code ONLY static and simple webpages, thats why i started with Muse. Thanks for the reply, i will definetely give a try.
PS: I dont think i can also jump from PS/Sketch directly to Webflow/Muse. I still like the feeling of doing mockups on it haha!
Kind regards,
Hi martin,
Yeah youve got n point! I saw somewhere people saying about the responsive elements on Webflow and thats one of the reasons ive made this topic. Do Webflow is based on some framework like bootstrap? I mean, on Muse you have to redesign the whole page to adapt to the mobile size, on Webflow its “auto”?
Kind regards,
Hey Noam, Thanks man, my portfolio redesign was my first try on Muse. Nice to hear you designed the scroll effects, they work pretty well, it takes some minutes to understand their mechanics but i think they are one of the features that attracts more attention to new users, evene more if you take a look on the gallery examples. Great article you’ve shared here, it makes sense and cleans alot of questions about it. I already knew that when i started using. I dont got much experience with coding, but i just wonder sometimes if the “messy” code doesnt bothers to a optmize a site. Anyways, this quote says it all: “If, instead, you are a designer looking for a powerful tool to create beautiful websites while letting someone else worry about how many
’s are needed for your look in IE 8, Muse is right up your alley. Because at the end of the day, Muse knows how to code well, so you don’t have to.” By the way, i loved the idea of participating givin feedbacks for new features, if you could, i want to help Thanks for the great explanation!
Thanks Nelson! After all these coments i will definitely try it!
Thanks mate, i will definitely use it instead!
Hey Julian, Thanks for your reply also! Hmm, I got it and your right, the CMS buit-in from Muse is one thing i liked when i started to use it. But what about the overall features and quality of code? Wich one stands out?
Hey Joey! Great info there huh? Im going to use your tutorial while trying WebFlow. Just noticed theres alot of bloated-free interactions using it. What about the responsive features? Do I need to design a specific layout for smartphones/tablets or its automatic just like bootstrap?
Thanks for the tutorial!
Yeah man, thanks for the inspiration! Just started on treehouse also! By the way, love the interation of your menu button and your workstation! Keep up the good work! :)
