I completely agree with all of the points you and others have made, but I've seen this exact discussion at least twice so far on this site.
I'm sick of it, and I just posted this code so hopefully: 1. People would see that others dislike the icons (certain ones especially) enough that they take matters into their own hands to get rid of them. 2. Others who also dislike them could use the code while we wait for a more permenant solution.
If you don't like the badges, use a CSS injector for Chrome of Firefox to add this:
div.Badge { display: none; }
I agree on the adoption point, but it seems like a better place to store photos and such due to the pricing structure.
They have a great policy on fair sharing, called "Fair Storage."
"People sharing content should equally divide the amount of storage being used. With Copy, you can split the bill. So a 12 GB folder shared between 3 people only counts as 4 GB per person."
What do you guys think? I know adoption will be a problem, and it's so easy because everyone uses dropbox, but it is an interesting model.
Disclosure: This is a referral link. We each get 5GB extra storage for using this link.
CodeKit still wins for me, but competition in always good as well.

Thanks, those are all great points. Retrospectively, I was probably too harsh on the current trends, and I don understand the humorous reactions to them.
I use pinboard, with tags.
For example, I can tag Gotham, Proxima Nova and Helvecta as "Font", "Header", and "Body" so that when I search for "Font Body" these will come up. Works pretty well, and will also work with many other free bookmarking services.
Please Elaborate? There are new sizes for iOS 7, and as far as I know, these are correct.
