I'm more of a visual leaner so I appreciate #1.
Only a matter of time. I think it's good for Dribbble and good for the community.
I was a little hesitant when I saw that this was another photo sharing app, but I think you guys have an interesting take on it.
It might seem like a lot of steps to get to the payoff (discover a photo), but if the photo + note are good, then it is worth it. I think people could do some interesting things with the app, like the love letter idea or a scavenger hunt. Could be pretty fun, and super interactive.
Design looks pretty nice as well, I'd definitely give it a shot.
Nice work.

It depends on the project, but it is something I like to do. For responsive web site or web apps I think it is essential to prototype in the browser to show different screen sizes. I'm not a fan of producing 4-10 individual mockups for different screens sizes when I can show that in the browser. One of the bigger benefits for client work is the client sees exactly how it looks in whatever browser they are viewing it in. So there are no surprises when it launches.
Something that is essential to this process is the inspect element tool in your browser. For often than not I am inspecting and making changes in the browser before updating my HTML + CSS.
