Thanks!
N'aww of course. :)
Also! You probably wouldn't have made this step if you didn't start working for yourself to begin with.
Yep. The artist I mentioned didn't make those illustrations and they are copied quite sloppy too. I don't think finger pointing is the way to go, stuff like this happens all the time, unfortunately. But I find it so sad to see 1 on 1 copying. Its always good to be sceptical/ask questions right?
I see stuff that is taken 1 to 1 from him.
Also the illustrations on Reech are a ripoff from this illustrator: http://www.zwartekoffie.com/
I'm doing one of the challenges right now and I feel confronted by the hollowness and the pace of this challenge all the time. I find myself wondering what the point of doing it really is. The incentive for me to start working on it is that I'm a young professional and not so experienced yet. If I have to do some client work there isn't always that much time for experimenting and trying stuff out. It also generates a sort of library for me to work with. Still I find myself discouraged by the emptiness of the daily tasks. For me it is not a thing to help get exposure, just an exercise.
I love Gimlet media's Reply All & The Startup. Also 99% invisible is pretty great.
