I honestly can't point to any one specific thing. I am constantly searching for new and better ways to work, so I try not to get too caught up on following someone else's process. I try things and throw away what doesn't work better than what I had.
That being said, Skillshare has been a good place to hear people talk about their process in detail. I've also gained some good tips from Treehouse (teamtreehouse.com). Otherwise I have either heard things here and there or acquired new habits through digging into any source files other designers give out. A lot of process and ideas can come from researching others files. Never assume that you have a process better than even beginners. Everyone does something better than the next person.
Hopefully that was somewhat helpful and what you were looking for.
I agree, not really the right place to ask this. I don't have one to share right now but you're welcome to send over your stuff and I'll keep you in mind. Dribbble.com/itskyleadams
My goal is to be diverse and discover some new great typefaces. Thank you for the suggestion!
I'm not using this for a portfolio site. I just want to know what is out there so that I can window shop a bit and get familiar with using them. Thank you for the suggestions!

I don't want to offend you but to be completely honest these were my impressions.
The intro live footage parts are confusing and seem to be shot with an old smart phone. It doesn't provide any confidence that the product will have quality later in the video.
The music is very repetitive and made me want to close the video.
Finally, the length is WAY too long. IF you can't explain what you are providing in less than 1 min. then you may need to simplify.
Those are just my observations and change recommendations based on a history of making these types of videos. I wish you a lot of luck with the startup!
I've never used this app and have no idea what the results are there, but I began with changing my eating habits and researching nutrition on my own. I've lost 50 lbs so far in the last two and a half months. I'm not sure why nutrition-based weight loss seems surprising.

Thank you everyone, these suggestions really help. I think I might take a week vacation and do some things I'm not use to doing. That might really help me get back on track.

A designer is a problem solver and should be able to take on the "information architecture" and the aesthetic appeal. Siloing the steps that go into a fully thought out design is, in my opinion, a tragedy.
Removing wireframes is the equivalent of deciding to build structures without blueprints. Wireframes allow for a designer to see their thoughts on paper quickly and to work through any issues that arise after seeing the layout, allowing the designer to make intentional decisions based on structure and future aesthetic considerations.
That may be a harsh reality for some, but the truth is that truly great designers can take a product's form and function requirements from beginning to end.
