Congrats! Tom from [DSGNJBS](dsgnjbs.com) here. I can think of two reasons why we should join forces...

This is the best take I've read on Schiff.

The commenters pointing out that Roger Ebert wasn't a great director; or Brian Sewell an artist of repute miss the point that critics have to have taste. The problem with Schiff is that he wants to live in a world where all UIs are skeuo — a misplaced nostalgia for a fleeting trend.

It's like Ebert complaining that every film he reviews isn't Toy Story.

This one of the best minimal guitar scale sites written in React I have seen this week

    Hey Sean,

Thanks. I think, as per the article, I just let it sit for a few days/weeks and began using it conversation. I found I was confident in saying the name to people and felt comfortable announcing the product as Peeps.

I think you probably have to just dive in and start using the name in order to work out how you truly feel about it. Until then, it's just sort of internal speculation.

This sounds cool. What's Notion's domain? (hard to Google :))

They do have the budget and they do pay to post. This is just another outlet — a place where all companies regardless of budget can post, and with a more casual/conversational approach.

It's good to know the (user)names behind these companies, too.

Yeah I think it should be monthly too — my thoughts were that not all companies can necessarily afford to post a paid-for job ad, but the ones that can will continue to do so (because ultimately they'll get greater exposure doing that).

Also sometimes a company might be hiring but not have the spec fully fleshed out. This is an opportunity to create a more casual heads-up before posting to DN Jobs (or @dsgnjbs :)).

Humbly suggest you follow @dsgnjbs (dsgnjbs.com).

And never be afraid to ask employers to consider using your freelance time for their full time position -- I've had my last 3 contracts this way. Sometimes you can be useful to them as a 2–3 month stop-gap, even remotely.
