There are so many features and things that so many of us want to see in Project Comet… A replacement for fireworks, incredible performance, compatibility with other CC programs, prototyping, redlining, and the ability to have plugins/actions… What's your focus for 1.0? How will Project Comet set itself apart from programs like Sketch? I know quite a few companies have switched their workflows to Sketch, and switching yet again will be painful. I guess that's two questions :)

Also, a kudos to the team. This outreach you're doing is something I've never seen from Adobe, and it's really spectacular. More of this!!

Being able to define rules behind certain shapes would be incredible. For instance:

    • If I create a rectangle, I'd like for this rectangle to be centered on the canvas, with 20% outside padding left and right OR with 16pt padding left and right. Each option will behave differently when my canvas changes, but both options are important.

    • I'll create another rectangle and place type inside. I would like to define that there is always 16px padding left and right inside the rectangle. As the text changes, the rectangle updates accordingly. Button! Bonus points for defining wrapping and truncation rules (for translation.)

    • Defining a shape not only in px/pt, but also in a percentage.

I second the sentiment of having some kind of a Zelplin-style handoff. If you haven't seen Zeplin.io, please do take a look. This tool has completely changed the way I deliver mocks to engineers, and has basically eliminated the need for me to redline. If Sketch weren't so littered with bugs, Zeplin would be perfect.

Still no support for Wacom tablets.

Moving a layer with a Wacom tablet causes the app to become unresponsive. Releasing the layer (mouseup) resumes normal operation. Bohemian coding: "We do not support Wacom tablets."

    ugh.

I've been using the Airmail 2.5 beta for some time and I am quite happy with it. It's kind of a "dumb" email client, in the sense that it doesn't do any fancy sorting or auto-scheduling for me. And I appreciate that.

Sorry for being a Buzz Killington, but fixing text box alignment with text is much more important – to everyone – than this. Arbitrary text box sizes doesn't match CSS, XCode, or Android text box behaviors, which makes speccing and implementation nightmarish.

I geek out way more over bug fixes than new features in Sketch betas.

    Two things to note:

    1) Make sure you click inside the little preview window before hitting command+V, otherwise it will paste the image onto your canvas.

    2) If you want to get your image OUT of the fill and exported somewhere else, you can click in the little preview window on the fill, command+C to copy, and then command+V on your canvas to paste the original image.

Pressing space bar and panning too quickly will often grab a layer and move it around. Bohemian Coding, this bug has been around for AGES.
