Just wanted to say thanks for writing "Designing with Web Standards" it was a pivotal book for me and my career at the time it was published.

I haven't used all the features available in Miro yet. I've mostly used it for reviewing work across the team. Leaving comments and notes on directions, revisions, etc. Also this can all be asynchronous or real time which is really nice.

Great idea! It's almost like a reverse todo list app. I agree with Ken, I think you could probably just add a block of explainer text underneath the mean header that expounds on what the app actually does and the problem is solves.

I think a lot of other people will have a sentimental attachment to CorelDraw as well. It's a piece of software that's been around for a long time. I'm happy to see they're back on the Mac. But I think with their current pricing model, $20/mo. or $299/yr., they're going to have a hard time competing against other current offerings on the platform.

I can't speak for the industry as a whole but most designers/companies I've talked to have moved away from Axure or have opted for other options like UXPin or Framer. I would imagine there are some larger enterprise companies who are heavily invested in this tool and still using it, but it feels like it's adoption is slowing down rather then ramping up.

This design survey could be helpful:

This is something I hope Figma is working on or at least thinking about implementing in the future.

Steve Frank (Panic.com) launched Spect recently. It's pretty bare bones but might fill your needs.
