I was also looking for a tool like that and I came upon this great tool (https://gohustl.co/) (runs only on a mac )

It doesn't record a really heavy video to speed it up afterwards, you don't have to do all the awful post editing process, exports the timelapse directly. Simple, clean and well-designed.
