I'm dealing with that same question––so many SAAS or B2B website look the same!

I completely agree. It's kind of heart-wrenching to live on two planes: one as a designer who's inspired by the ideas brought up by this article, and the other as a designer who must contend with the daily, prosaic concerns of contributing to a actual business whose goal isn't to carry the field of web design forward.

In itself, this seems like a very cool product. Since people in creative fields need to host their files somewhere, why not give them a way to create an interactive presentation experience out of their work?
However, I feel like there's a larger question at play––what is Dropbox as a company? What is their north star? What is their elevator pitch? Are they trying to become a workflow tool (a la Dropbox Paper)? Are they trying to become a portfolio website product (a la Dropbox Showcase)?
Unless the market for making tools for people in creative fields is much larger than I imagined, this seems like an oddly narrow niche for Dropbox.
