Brilliant! Well I for one bloody hope it isn't! Very good reasoning behind why they'd keep it going, I guess it must also stem from the fact that google weren't happy with the available webfonts when they launched it.
Frighteningly we were using Logo on Archimedes computers when I was at school in 1998. I guess it's the equivalent of a kid now working on Windows 95!
'This app is useless'
Surely as a website full of user experience experts that's a bit of a mad thing to suggest, just because experienced users of iOs and tech-savvy users may be aware of the new features not EVERY user is.
I initially thought that I wouldn't use it, but this morning I found it pretty good when I had a quick glance.
BUT, where they have dropped the ball is not allowing you to delete it. They're not thinking of all users!
Think that's a really good idea but there should also be a 'how could they have done this better' kind of discussion area. I love looking at new website designs and thinking from a UX perspective how certain things may have been done better.
For some reason I stick with Filezilla, it seems less prone to mistakes for a clumsy clicker like myself. But I am a big fan of Cyber Duck, works in a much more friendly Finder style fashion, but it's not so great if you're clumsy.
