Hey Guys, big fan of your work.

For the physical products businesses (Peel particularly), what sort of market research did you do and how did you gauge interest prior to placing the first order with the manufacturer? Or rather what did you do to ensure you wouldn't have thousands of phone cases no one wanted!?

I use Bower. Get all of Bootstrap's files and create a new style.less file and import the main bootstrap.less and a copy of the variables.less file (to be able to override the defaults).

style.less will look something like:

@import "../bower_components/bootstrap/less/bootstrap.less"; @import "variables.less"; ...

File structure:

/assets

-- style.less

-- variables.less

/bower_components/...

-- lots of Bower files that you don't edit

Adds a couple of nice features over and above being easier to read.

Looking through Ryan Sims portfolio I realised just how much of an influence he has been to my design work. At one time or another I've been inspired by (ripped off) his entire back catalogue of work; Neubix, Pure Volume, Virb and probably now Rdio.
