I don't think the industry has decided on who's job it is to care for CSS architecture in a product

wow, very yes (at least in my experience); much unfortunate...

Woah, that's way worse than I'd expected; a straight up copy-and-paste job. Now, I have no issues with reappropriating little bits and pieces of someone else's design – it is the best way to learn after all – but I'm not a big fan of straight up plagiarism. It's definitely flattering as far as it goes but I'd be pissed if it was my work being ripped off... (Nice site by the way!)

  • Posted to Ask DN: What is the most confusing aspect of development/programming to you as a designer?, Aug 18, 2014

Particularly confusing to me are code patterns, common conceptual organizational structures. For example I still can not fully understand the logic being or best ways to make use of jQuery plugins!

I'm imagining something a la PS's built in Actions, but a more powerful, text-based extension! It sounds like heaven.

Chrome is a definite win on this. Although I have to say: Firefox has been doing a bangup job on it's integrated development tools recently. Plus it has all the extensibility of Chrome. But I definitely wouldn't use Safari.
