    Thanks!

Some people will prefer to just keep things on their device and don't want to use cloud services. But others may want the benefits of smarter and more centralized data, like being able to share with friends or see it on a computer, in which case something like Gyroscope will be more useful. Of course it is up to you which option you are more comfortable with. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns about how it works.

Thanks. The UI is mostly react native, but many of the things behind the scenes are native like the healthkit uploading and the photo processing.

Some of the important components like the graphs and maps are actually webviews that use our web implementation, the tools for doing the vector graphs in react native are not quite as good as on the web.

Some React Native features like Hot Reload have been really useful during development and make it feel a lot more like building for the web in terms of speed and process.

We've been working on this app for over a year, and now it is finally available for people to try out! You can get in with the invite code: "designers"

Powered by React Native (the animations can be a bit laggy sometimes, but overall it work quite well)

Special thanks to the legendary Shane Mielke for helping with some of the design :)

They work together. We don't do the tracking so you still continue using Strava as you currently do, just get more features on top of that.
