I have a small Star Wars Moleskine I use for recipes, notes, permanent things I'll need to reference later (bills and stuff) that I keep on me at all times. But for work/creative things I buy cheapo Canson spiral bound sketchbooks and they are amazing. My local art supply store sells them for $3. I go through them so fast for ui/ux stuff and daily tasks that I'm not super worried about paper quality here.
